An editorial written by Alliant Chief Data Officer Kimberly Rask, MD, Ph.D. on the rising cost of primary care for patients was recently published in the Annals of Internal Medicine. Established in 1927 by the American College of Physicians (ACP), Annals of Internal Medicine is a national journal that publishes a wide variety of original research, review articles, practice guidelines, and commentary relevant to clinical practice, health public health, health care policy, medical care delivery, education, ethics, and research methodology for internal medicine. The journal reaches 159,000 readers nationwide and aims to improve health care for patients in the U.S., which greatly aligns with our own mission of making health care better.
